Our floors are from Cochran’s Lumber – select engineered white oak in their Frisco finish.

Big problem we are running into is loving the white oak, which is typically not much more expensive than #1 Red Oak but the stair companies stock treads & rails in red not white & the cost to custom fabricate is $$$.

My stair treads are maple – so it’s going to be interesting. Not looking to match, just looking too coordinate. The stain on the floors is called Frisco and they were prefinished.

Floors look beautiful. What stain did you choose? Also, are the stair treads you plan to refinish red oak or white? Thanks
