In reply to J. Mantha. Thank you so much for this informative email! So helpful. I recently build a home in my pantry the quarzite is exactly that! When we were moving in a brand new bottle of natural peanut butter was just resting in the counter for about a couple hours and when I moved it that alone left a big ring! I freaked out it wasn’t used but I had never seen anything like that now I’m forever getting water rings and stuff so I will be trying this. It’s so heart breaking the money we spend on this and the stress over it. But thank u!

Any advice or pointers when considering quartzite countertops similar to your? I found a leathered sea pear I love but and nervous about pulling the trigger. I’ve only had granite that did not require maintenance. I’m mostly worried about absorption of liquids (especially grease/oils) around the stove and sink. I’m thinking of continuing the stone up the full height of my backsplash ad well, but could be problematic behind the stove. Last question, you mentioned taking a little while to find the right sealer, what did you land on that seemed to work best? Thanks and your kitchen is beautiful!

In reply to Sandra. I believe the color was Revere Pewter before the remodel. Great color!
