I do marketing at DiscountBlindShop a Window Treatment Company in Southern California and I am a parent working for their kids, thanks for the article, just keep on going with the good Media.

I have been home since my oldest was 9 months old. You're absolutely right, I am now emotionally, rather than physically exhausted by parenting my kids. I always had grand ideas of what I would accomplish while they were all three in school all day. And just like you, I'm lucky to get my shower in by the time they get home. The days fly by and I am often left feeling defeated. But, I wouldn't trade this life for any other. I know I will look back fondly on this blessed life and the time I devoted to raising my children.

I'm so glad you found such fulfillment in quitting your job. What a huge life changer, and not as easy as some might think. I'm so happy for you. I think it's really hard to be a woman in today's world…..well really every generation of women before us had their challenges too, ours are just different since we have so many more options and choices and decisions. I'm so happy for you Jenny, and I'm glad to have a long-distance partner in crime to navigate motherhood/designing/blogging/living life to the fullest with!!!
