In reply to Lisa. The pretty hanging baskets weren't in my neighborhood, but rather, in one that I walked around while waiting for my son to finish baseball practice. But I certainly wish I had those touches in my neighborhood - flowers make me happy.

What an idyllic neighborhood you live in! Such a pity the rest of America can’t live in such a lovely place! Perhaps if we all did, we’d live to become better people and citizens of the United States!

Have you ever checked out Maria Killam’s blog – Colour Me Happy? I think you would love it. She also started doing color workshops in the US this past year. A lot of her work focuses on choosing the right neutrals or whites based on undertones and clean vs dirty. Every time I see one of your kitchens I think how much you would probably love her work. Also, one of her tips for great pictures is to always take the photos without the lights on using natural light to best represent the color.

I’ve been following her blog for about 8 years and I took a workshop with her last spring and would be happy to share my thoughts if you have any questions.

Chip and Joanna are amazing. They deserve all the success they are working so hard to earn! I wish my husband was a tenth as handy as Chip Gaines. that. Would. Be, Awesome.

Also loving this weather, and ironically I painted my front door green. Just because green is such a fan color, right? Oh well. I’m hoping to make a fall wreath with my daughter soon and that will help autumnify it 🙂

Finally cooled off here too! Those hanging flower baskets are gorgeous. Flowers really struggle here due to the summer heat. That purse is genius. Need to put that book on my list, thanks for sharing.
