Thanks Shelley! I think the reason he did the dilation was because I have been having issues with my vision, and wanted to be sure there was nothing going on with my eye physically – but I still hate it. He’s thinking my dry eyes are the culprit – such a pain. Glad you enjoyed the Ted Talk – I could watch it again, I thought it was so funny and so totally relatable to my thinking. Oh, this Ted Talk is hilarious! I mean, I was crying because I was laughing so hard. I hate to admit it, but I can relate to this too well! I definitely need a deadline – even though I don’t like them… Yes, I always wondered about that pupil dilating-bright light in the eye exam! For the past few years, my doctor has given the option of using an Optomap (I think that’s what it’s called) exam. You look into this machine and they take a picture of your eye and examine it on the computer. It’s supposed to show the same thing as the pupil dilating but is less annoying. Ask your doctor if they offer it next time. And great list this week! Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Fall!
