In fact, it’s the same style as yours. I went with a light gray (white metal by Behr), which is the same gray that I painted the walls in the foyer, living/dining room, and kitchen. I’m glad to hear that you like the General Finishes java gel because I bought it to refinish a dresser and night stand.
