I put hardwood floors in 4 months ago and STILL haven't gotten any rugs! I am just aghast at the prices! I really need three of them, but after spending thousands on new floors, I think I'll wait to find a bargain.

Your rug looks gorgeous! I continuously struggle over whether or not to spend that much money on a rug too. I am yearning for a new hallway rug, but haven't broken down yet.

Like others have mentioned, Home Goods is always a good source. Sometimes they are even quite expensive there though. I love the rugs at Crate and Barrel, West Elm and Overstock.com too.

May I ask what brand this rug is? I have been searching high and low for a splash of beauty like this. I can search places like rugsusa.com forEVER. Can't will myself to buy, though. I love this rug. Good job!

Our entire house is a combination of hardwood and laminate floors. I have bought 6 rugs over the past year! My go to places are Homegoods, although some are better than others and Garden Ridge, not sure if you have one where you live. Also try Lowe's, we got lucky and found an 8×10 Shaw rug for $119.

I like your rug a lot! It's very happy and at a great price. I recently bought an 8X10 rug for my living room and it as torture. They really are so pricey. I ended up picking based on price and the fact that they sold a matching runner which I needed. I'm happy with it, but I would have liked more options in my price range. I don't know why they're SO expensive.

It's beautiful! What a great score! What I'm currently lovin' is buying carpet remnants and having them bound into rugs. SO cheap, and they have some really beautiful patterns out there! In fact, there is a photo of one on my blog today (great minds think about rugs on the same day, right?!) 🙂 Hope you had a Happy Valentine's Day!
