I KNEW that I had brought a serving spoon along, after searching the kitchen, he went through the trash, and low and behold, not only my spoon, but one of their forks were found! They had used paper-type plates, and we think that while tossing their plates, people absent-mindlessly drop flatware in the trash too. Maybe providing plastic flatware isn’t a waste of $!

I used Carmex for years before I began using the balm. I love it’s silky feel and how it softens my lips. As for silverware- where DOES it go? I am missing so many items!! I have resorted to now using an inexpensive set for every day use and I bring out one of my complete sets when we have guests!

It is an annual tradition for our New Year’s Day celebration, but it is sooooo much better with a homemade chocolate cookie crust.

Crush 16 Oreos and mix with 2 Tbsp. Melted butter. Press into a 9” pie plate and refrigerate.

My recipe for the grasshopper filling is almost identical to yours.

Missing spoons a few years ago. Right now I’m down several forks. I don’t want to even think that it might be knives next. My silverware is discontinued so now it’s time to decide if I buy the forks on ebay like I did the spoons or if I bite the bullet and buy new silverware!
