It's almost like red, I think reds are really hard to match and I never would have expected it with gray.

I am so in love with that color combo, it's ridiculous! THAT RUG!! Gah! I can't wait to see it all come together.

I think your wallcolor will be a soft background color once you bring all your fabrics and accessories into the room. The rug is so pretty!!! I vote keep it, and live with the wall color for a bit before deciding.

It looks like the first picture matches perfectly so I can see why you choose it and was disappointed. Although the fabric picture looks like the background of the paisley fabric is blue too? Does it match that? You also have blue in other rooms in your house does it seem to flow into that room ok. I know things don't have to be matchy matchy, but I don't like it to stand way out. If you have any doubts return it and try again, you will never like it if your first impression was, ugh! Or you can repaint

It IS a beautiful rug, but I really love your wall color too! As much as I love RugsUSA, that's my one drawback. I'm never quite sure what the true color is going to look like. They are never descriptive enough. Unless it just totally clashes in real life, I agree with Brandi and think I'd just leave it alone.

I think it's even better that it doesn't match perfectly. I bet once you start adding in the fabric and accessories you won't even notice the offset in color.

Like you said it's a pretty rug but doesn't match the walls exactly if that's what you're going for. We found out gray is a hard color too.
