I think faux roman shades that will go along with your breakfast room would be nice. Anyway, whatever you chose, I’m sure they'll look good as it’s quite obvious that you have a fine taste in design. Your house is lovely! Roxie @ WindowTreatmentsPhiladelphia.com

The room, in general, is to die for! I love the choice of window treatment you have in your Hobby Lobby. But, regarding whether to use faux roman shades or deconstruct the already existing window treatment, I’d say, go for the existing one. It may be too much for the eyes if you use a faux roman shades for the breakfast room. It should be just as light and as fresh.

I'm voting for the faux roman; can't seem to decide on fabric (at least just yet).

Ever since coming across your blog I have been a true follower. I LOVE everything about your home. It is really fabulous and I wish I was as creative as you. Once in awhile I do manage to come up with something that I think is pretty cool. I am in a condo now, unfortunately, still trying to "complete" the decorating process. I have a problem settling on a window treatment in my living room as I need to coordinate it with a sliding glass door. I have a question and won't be offended at the answer….. If I were to send pics to you would you be willing to give me your suggestion? I usually go by my "gut feeling" when I search things out, which is why sometimes it takes awhile to come up with "just the right thing". Nothing seems to be reaching the mark in this situation. I can be reached @ [email protected]. BTW, I live in Cincinnati, OH. Thanks, Jenny!

It would tie the two areas together and the green color in it really pops. Suzani seems kind of dull in comparison.

Go for the faux roman shades! You did a great job on those and I think they would look wonderful on all those windows.

It's so nice that you have so many beautiful windows in your basement! I love the suzani print and think you should do the fauz roman shades so that you can really see the fabric.
