Hello!

Do you ever have a week where you just feel like you’re constantly running behind schedule, despite your best efforts to get things done? That’s been me this week. Things like unexpected job delays, going out of town, I missed last week’s 5+1 because I was out of town for a baseball tournament, so I have lots to share with you this week! This post contains some affiliate links.

Coach House Accents Simulated Garage Door Window

Awhile back, I shared some magnetic garage door handles like these that you could add to a metal garage door to give it a custom look These simulated garage door windows take things to a whole new level! Turn a plain door into a custom door without replacing them altogether. Talk about curb appeal!

QUICKDRAW DIY Self-Marking Tape Measure

This tape measure is another one of those products where you smack yourself on the forehead and think, “Duh.” It has a pencil built-in to the tape measure so you can make your marks while you’re measuring! Makes marking your projects easy peasy, so that you may actually be able to measure once, cut once for a change.

Tentsile Tree Tent

Now, I’m not know to be the most outdoorsy girl out there, but I’m thinking if I had one of these Tensile Tree Tents, that I might give camping a try. How cool are these tents? They’re off the ground and serve as kind of a tent/hammock all in one. Plus, they help to keep the bugs out – brilliant idea!

If I ever decide to start climbing mountains, they work well in that situation as well. So smart.

Don’t Let Me Go

I just finished this book and thought it was worth sharing. Don’t Let Me Go is a story about how a group of neighbors essentially band together to help a little girl who is the daughter of a drug addicted mother. I know it sounds like a downer at first glance, but it’s really very heartwarming, and one that I grew to appreciate the more I got into it. Worth a read (or a listen, if you’re an Audible addict like I am).

Microplane Zester

On a completely different note, this microplane zester is something that I have in my kitchen that is great for adding fresh lemon or lime zest to recipes (I use it for adding zest to lemon blueberry muffins or even some yummy zucchini muffins). A must-have, since a little goes a long way.

and cleaning my carpets at midnight because my dogs got out, ate who-knows-what, and puked on my carpet</del>. My older dog is acting like he’s hungover. Can hardly walk, curled up on the floor, whining and crying because he doesn’t want to be in the basement by himself. He seems to forget that he’s a middle aged man-dog, and can’t party like he did when he was a puppy. Too many squirrel shooters I think. 😉
