As I’ve shared before, I have found more than my fair share of steals and deals at Bargains and Buyouts.  They may move locations, but where they go, I will follow.  And that’s just what I did when I was scouting for rugs.  I have shopped shared their amazing store at Glencrossing in Cincinnati, and I finally made my way to their other store on Eswin, which while smaller, certainly did not disappoint.  Both of them had a great selection of rugs while I was there, and lucky for you, they have a huge rug shipment arriving now.  Let me give you a peek at some of their rug goodness you can expect to find.  This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own. Hello! When I have the time, I continue to make the trek down to Bargains and Buyouts, but unfortunately, I can’t get down there as often since they’ve consolidated down to one store, and it’s a bit of a hike for me to get down there.  However, it is usually worth the trip.  My last visit was on a whim, and as a bonus, it was late in the week, before the crowds invade (I presume) over the weekend. I have been looking for an upholstered king sized bed, but so far have not found the right one.  But, I did score a great queen sized one for my oldest son’s room.  He’s been using our old queen headboard, and while it’s pretty, it takes up more room than you might expect.  And, since space is at a premium, switching the old one out for a new headboard that takes up less space (and is reasonably priced) has been on my Bargains and Buyouts lookout list too. Hello! This week is zipping by awfully fast, even though it’s been gloomy and gray.  I have a sick one who has been home since Monday, and I’m hoping it doesn’t make its way through the family.  Off to the doctor today. You know my obsession with Bargain and Buyouts and their amazing deals.  I’ve blogged about them on more than one occasion (here, here and here) because the deals are just that good. Well, they have been teasing us for awhile now with the closing of a new store and the promise of opening a new one that is bigger and better.  The new store opened this past Saturday, and while I was unable to get there on the first day (as I was working as a personal assistant to my son for homecoming), I did get there on Monday. Hello! Happy Friday everyone!  It’s getting cool and crisp around here – great football weather, and I just might break out my boots this weekend for our local Octoberfest. 🙂 Lots to share for today’s Friday 5+1 (5 Things I Love + 1 Thing I Don’t)!  Let’s get started! Cute Shops Decorated for Fall I have shared our local Fleurish Home store with you before, but I popped in there last week, and just love how they’ve decorated for fall.  It’s nearly impossible to walk out without buying something, or at the very least, being totally inspired. This one had me at hello.  I caved, and bought one of their cute little pumpkins and have it under a cloche (minus the wreath – might have to go back and pick one up).. These large pumpkins caught my eye – they’re made out of palms.  Great idea! These are tags that you can attach to a bottle of wine, or even a gift, and write a chalk note on them.  All different styles available, but I thought this tree was a cute idea for fall. Hello! I hope the weather is beautiful where you are, as we have been enjoying some beautiful springtime temps around here, and I’m loving it!  Although I did hear that allergy season is supposed to be particularly difficult this year thanks to our harsh winter.  My eyes itch just thinking about it. I made another trip to one of the Bargains & Buyouts outlets, since I was in the neighborhood after meeting a girlfriend for lunch (read about my other visits here and here).  I picked up this cute little number for the low, low price of $48.  Yes, a 5×8 rug for $48. I don’t know if you can tell, but it’s navy blue, not black.  It gives me a little vertigo looking at it full on, I’ll admit it. But with furniture on top of it, I’m good. 🙂  Plus, it works nicely with my slipper chair. My office is starting to take on more of a preppy look with the punches of green and blue I’ve been using in here. Hello friends! If you follow me on Facebook, you’ve seen some of the amazing steals and deals that I’ve come across lately.  I blame Andrea, from Oak Ridge Revival, for rekindling my obsession with the amazing Bargains and Buyouts outlet.  (Remember the great console table I bought?)  I went to both of their locations (visiting one location more than once) over the course of three days.  And, after hearing that they’re getting NINE truckloads in over the next several days, I’m planning on going back.   I’ve taken you on tours of a lot of the different outlets around here, and this is one that definitely lives up to its name.  Allow me to illustrate. This lovely lady caught my eye during my first Bargains and Buyouts visit on Friday.  I’m a sucker for anything tufted, and I loved the size and style of this ottoman.  Not to mention the price – $99.  Seriously, people.  $99.  But, I didn’t buy it that day.   However, I went back on Monday, and there she was.  Waiting for me.  Calling my name.  When I asked the manager, “Is that your best price?” and he told me, “I could do $85,”  I knew she […]
