Bargains and Buyouts – A New Store!

Hello!

This week is zipping by awfully fast, even though it’s been gloomy and gray.  I have a sick one who has been home since Monday, and I’m hoping it doesn’t make its way through the family.  Off to the doctor today.

You know my obsession with Bargain and Buyouts and their amazing deals.  I’ve blogged about them on more than one occasion (here, here and here) because the deals are just that good. Well, they have been teasing us for awhile now with the closing of a new store and the promise of opening a new one that is bigger and better.  The new store opened this past Saturday, and while I was unable to get there on the first day (as I was working as a personal assistant to my son for homecoming), I did get there on Monday.

When I got there, I was so excited to see how large this new space is.  I looked to the right –

And then to the left…

Where do I even begin?  Believe it or not, one of the employees told me that they sold HALF of their inventory that was on the floor on that first day.  HALF.  So, in that sense, it was a bit “picked over”, but there were still some items that caught my eye.

I loved this whimsical piece of artwork – reminds me of our big black lab.  Would be adorable in a kid’s room or even a kid’s bathroom.

This mirror was amazing.  And sold.

Some great rugs.  I loved this runner (and loved the price even more – $35!!).  But, I didn’t have a place for it, as it was a bit too long.

Although as I sit here now, I’m thinking it would be a great runner for my hallway as you come off the garage…

This one is another beauty.  Great size – 9×12, I believe.

And I love me a quatrefoil pattern.

But the price makes me love it even more!  $99??  Say what?

This was another lovely rug that I spotted.

I made my way over to the stools and chairs and found some deals there as well.  All four of these modern bar stools for $199.

A cute slipper chair for $99.

Or a pair of slipper chairs for $99 each.

This yummy chair had me struggling to justify purchasing it.  It’s small but cozy, soft, tufted and a gorgeous shade of blue.  There was no price tag on it, which is just as well – I don’t need another chair (but a girl can want, right?).

This settee would be lovely on its own, or pulled up along side your dining room table, don’t you think?  $249 isn’t bad…

Another petite and comfy chair.  I love the black piping on this one.  You could put it just about anywhere in your home – $129.

I perused the bargain bins, and decided it was a great source for cheap fabric.  Take this drapery panel for instance – $5 for a 108″ rod pocket panel.  You could make some great faux roman shades out of this!  Now I’m wondering why I didn’t grab it…

I’m still on the hunt for a luxurious looking king bed, and will keep stalking this place until I find it!

If you’re in the Dayton/Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, this place is worth a visit!  They’re always getting new stuff and putting it out on the floor as quickly as they can.  Here is the address of their new location:

5150 Glencrossing Way, Cincinnati, OH 45238

And they still have their Hamilton, OH location – smaller, but still great deals!
2290 Dixie Highway, Hamilton, OH 45015

I was also over at The Creativity Exchange on Monday talking about color and loving what you have through the power of paint.  Check it out here.

Have a wonderful day!

I want to go to this place so bad I can taste it. I would be in hog heaven. Gosh, I wish they would open one in the Atlanta area. That 108" drapery panel for $5–what? I would use for shower curtain but what a steal. You're right, how much fabric do you see for $5/yard. I love the colors in it and the ikat pattern.
