Hello!
I’m so excited to share a client kitchen refresh that I finished last week. The homeowners were looking to give it a new lease on life with the power of paint, and I think we accomplished just that. You be the judge!
Let’s take a look at where we began. The cabinets certainly weren’t bad by any means. They’re solid and have a great profile, and I was happy that they were maple, as maple cabinets look beautiful when sprayed. Stephanie (the wife) was having surgery that was going to leave her stuck on the couch for several weeks, and wanted to look at something pretty, so the kitchen was made a priority.
It’s a small kitchen, but as you’ll see, small can still be beautiful.
And here it is now:
You’ll notice we also added hardware, which makes a big difference in and of itself. A huge thank you to D. Lawless Hardware for providing these beautiful brushed nickel knobs and cup pulls.
The homeowners are anxious to replace the appliance now, to pull together the look of the brushed nickel with the stainless steel.
This is a first step of a bigger plan for this kitchen. Like I mentioned before, they’re looking to add stainless steel appliances, along with granite countertops and a tile back splash. I look forward to sharing those changes as well!
Take a minute to pop on over to The Creativity Exchange to see my Color Spotlight post on Sherwin Williams’ gorgeous color – Comfort Gray. I am adding it to the mix of all of these paint colors as I try to narrow down my color choice for our family room.

Crazy, right? |
Have a great day, and don’t forget to thank a veteran for his/her service today. My husband and his twin brother are two vets in our family – thank you for your service!
