I Heart Sarah Richardson

I think the Canadians have it right when it comes to design, and Sarah Richardson is one of my faves.  (And then there’s Candice Olson – I could do a whole separate post on her too!)  Since I’ve been home sick for the past three days, I’ve been watching some of her older Design Inc. shows that I haven’t seen before.  And feeling bitter that we don’t have Sarah 101 here in the States…  I mean seriously – look at what we’re missing out on here!  It hardly seems fair.

But really, what is so endearing about Sarah is that not only do I love her style (and her sidekick, Tommy), I love her personality and her sense of humor.  Like we could be friends in real life.
Does being a Facebook Fan count as friends?

You can’t argue with her designs, that’s for certain.  I love how she uses fabric as her starting point with her designs too.  Her Sarah’s House series is really what sent me over the top – just when I thought I couldn’t love her designs any more than I already do.
A-mazing.

Well, I’m on anti-biotics now, so hopefully I’ll be back in the swing of things soon!

I love her show too! I love the way every one of her rooms comes out warm and inviting. She and Tommy are so much fun to watch.

I hope you feel better soon.

I love Sarah too. I've been watching her for years. I love how her designs are a mixture of vintage and new things, and how she mixes hi and lo end items. She is just great an amazing talent. Please get well soon.
