More Mom Cave Fun

I have to give major snaps to Thrifty Decor Chick for taking the time to feature so many baby blogs like mine.  I knew something was going on when I had a huge influx of comments, and I’m thrilled!  Welcome to the new readers – I’m glad you’re here!
My project focus continues to be on my Mom Cave, and since this room is going to be my sanctuary, it just makes it even more fun.  You all saw my Pretty in Pink lamp, and I’m adding some extra detail to bring her to life even more.
Call me crazy, but there is just something about pom-pom trim that I just can’t resist (nor can my 5 year-old daughter – “MOM! I love your lamp!”).  This lampshade is no exception.
You can see that more punches of pink have been added to the space as well.  I found the square wrought iron pieces at Goodwill awhile back, looking not-so-pretty…

But look at them now –

They got a new friend too, and I’m loving the trio.  These are more pink in person, but I have given up trying to tweak it to get that “perfect” picture.   They match the lamp. 😉
Can you see where Bahama Breeze has made an appearance?

Stay tuned!

Jenny, it looks awesome! I love the pom pom trim. And the way you have done the rest of the cave. So great. And yes, I need to give props to TDC as well! She rocks.

Thank you for inspiring me! I strongly dislike my home, and the way things have been decorated, but have been "riding it out" until we are ready to build our new home. Things keep coming up though, and it hasn't happened as quickly as my impatient self would like. Anyway, I have a new desire to change things and make myself love this home while I'm here. I love your ideas, and LOVE the mineral deposit color you did in your bedroom. Beautiful! And I've also realized I don't have to buy everything brand new….can totally make old things have new life. Score!

I really love what you have done with this room! What a nice place for mom time! Isn't it amazing how much spray paint can do for something old and dingy??

Hi there, love your gorgeous home and great decorating style! You have mentioned a few times about the lack of a window in your mom cave, this may sound silly, but how about a a pane of stained glass with curtains on both sides, or something similiar? It would give the illusion of a window…anyways this will either give you a good laugh or make you go hmmmm :o) btw CUTE pompoms! PS:tried to send this as an email but couldn't find yours.

That lamp is gorgeous. I love the color and the balled fringe. That is the new top color this year. I have a mom cave, too and love it. Of course my kids are grown and gone, but I have a separate place to watch what I want to so I don't have to put up with the hub's channel flipping! I don't see a link to my party or maybe I missed it. Thanks for joining.
