Seasonal Design Goodness

Hello friends!

I hope you’re having a great week!  I was out and about over the weekend and wanted to share some yummy décor finds that I discovered.

I don’t get to shop in an actual Pottery Barn store very often, since the nearest one is a bit of a hike, but every time I do, I just love it.  Their stores are as delicious as their catalogs, and at this time of year, I love them even more.

Exhibit A – this warm and cozy seating area.  I was *this close* to picking up some of those throw pillows.  Their styling is second to none, isn’t it?  Do you think they’d mind if I cozied up and took a catnap?

Lots of beautiful tablescapes on display, and I loved this one.

Lovely place setting ideas too – so simple and classic.

Another beautiful table on display.

And I love these cute little pumpkin kitchen towels.

This gorgeous gallery wall stopped me in my tracks.  I. love. it.  So many elements to take in – the dark wall color really makes it all pop, doesn’t it?  That wire “Office” sign is the bomb, but the real show stealer for me is that framed wood piece.

Let’s take a closer look, shall we?  I see a DIY project in the making.  So cool!

Beautiful wall of mirrors.

Pottery Barn has a way of drawing me in with their beautiful bedding ensembles.  The last time I was there, I walked out with a new duvet cover, and this gorgeous set had the same end result (this photo doesn’t do it justice).  Unfortunately, they didn’t have a king sized duvet in stock, so alas, my new duvet is en route via UPS and is scheduled to arrive on Friday.  Can’t wait – it’s perfect for the fall and winter season, and I love that the colors will work with my current bedroom color scheme.

Pottery Barn always hits the mark with their Christmas décor, and these pillows would be fab in any home for the holidays.

I have always loved their reindeer themed pieces – so clever.

Speaking of reindeer, I perused the Christmas section at Lowe’s and found these uber-cool reindeer themed wreath hangers.  Love.

These cute felt Christmas trees had me at hello – and less than $10 each!

Don’t forget the bright and cheery wreath to go with them.

If you’re going for a more muted holiday look, these Christmas trees adorned with ornaments are a classic look.  I could totally see these on a holiday table, couldn’t you?

This wreath would be so sharp hanging inside your dining room windows perhaps?

Mercury glass Christmas trees (that light up!).

I’m seriously considering changing out my Christmas stockings with these beauties.  I kept going back and circling them like a buzzard.  Do you stick with the same stockings each year, or do you change them out?  I get a pang of guilt when I think of changing them out since my kids have had their own special stocking since they were born.

This one is my favorite.

On another shopping note, tomorrow we have a HomeGoods opening nearby (another store that is a bit of a hike for me), and I am so. excited.  I may or may not be there when the doors open at 8AM tomorrow morning.

Are you drawn in by seasonal decorating like I am?  What is your favorite store to stalk browse this time of year?

I'm totally drawn in by seasonal decorating and store displays. Since there are only 3 Pottery Barns in our province, and all quite a hike, I appreciate seeing your photos of the store displays. The other items are lovely and I may have to stop by Lowe's to see if they carry the same line here in Canada. We use the same stockings for the kid's 'real' stockings but I do like using others for display purposes.

I agree with you, PB does have the best styling….it's so inspiring to go into the store, isn't it?? Except then I want everything….that's the only problem!
