2021 Favorite Things

I’m so excited to join in with Thrifty Decor Chick and friends to share my favorite things with you this year.  With last year being such a bummer, I’m looking so looking forward to the holidays this year!  I usually pool together things that I love, along with things my most trusted girlfriends share with me.  We’ve all known each other since grade school/high school, so the trust is real.  This post contains some affiliate links.

Olangda Massage Gun

There are loads of these massage guns floating around – some more expensive, some less expensive.  All I can say is that this is the one that I have, and it is like having a personal masseuse in your back pocket.  Whether you’re sore from working out, or you’re dealing with occupational hazards that leave your muscles aching at the end of the day, this massage gun will get the job done.  Recently, I painted a large kitchen that left my upper back and shoulders aching to where I couldn’t get comfortable.  This gun took away about 95% of the soreness overnight.  I don’t know what it is about it’s fast percussion you get with it, or the different attachments they offer – the result is magic.  But if you ever experience sore muscles, you need one of these in your life.

Realistic Greenery

I picked up some of the most gorgeous winter greenery that looks so real, I have to do a double take.  Mixing some fresh along with some faux greenery goes a long way, and it looks beautiful too.  I have some really pretty stems that definitely look real (not plastic), and won’t be drying up and falling all over the place since I get a jump start on decorating here.

I put some of these juniper branches in a pitcher too, and you would think that I had plucked them from the backyard.  They’re great to display, or to tuck into wreaths or garland in your home over the holidays.

Apple Air Tags

If you’re like me, there are certain things that you can’t find when you need them.  For me, it seems to be keys.  And I know this is true for my boys because they leave the house and come back in at least once for something they forgot.  Enter Apple Air Tags.  It works in the same way that the Find My iPhone app works, and will ping your air tag so you can locate it.

I need this cool looking key chain for my air tag to keep track of my keys.  Problem solved.

Impress Gel Nails

These Impress Gel Nails are amazing if you have a holiday party and run out of time to get your nails done.  The name definitely fits – they impress.  The legit look like you’ve been to the salon and got your nails done, when it’s really as easy as pressing them on, filing and done.  Since my hands take such a beating, it doesn’t always make sense to get my nails done at the salon.  These are made for people like me, or as a great emergency kit in a pinch.  They come in all sorts of colors, and even offer designs if you’re looking for some additional detail.

OPI Drip Dry Lacquer Drops

Speaking of nails, these OPI Lacquer Drops were recommended by a friend, and are another great tool to have in your arsenal when it comes to nails.  If you’re polishing them yourself, these lacquer drops seal in your nail color with a gorgeous finish in minutes.  I’m thinking they’d be super handy for toes as well.  I know there are lots of times that I do my own toes just as I’m heading out the door.

B12 Awake Patch

For my work at home peeps, this was recommended by a friend of mine who is also still working from home.  As nice as it is, sometimes it gets monotonous.  I know my husband is actually working more now that he’s working from home.  It’s kind of a blessing and a curse.  I remember hitting the wall in the afternoon sometimes when I was working in the office, and this B12 Awake Patch is a handy little tool to help you work through that slump that we all know so well.

Blue Q Goodies

Ok, if you’ve seen my favorite things list before, I know I’ve included Blue Q socks and bags.  But they’re just so. good.  Great for a laugh, a stocking stuffer, a white elephant gift.  For people who have a sense of humor and can laugh at themselves.  My favorite kind of people.  And now they even have dish towels.

And toothbrushes

But you can’t go wrong with the socks.

Pretty Wine Glasses

Ever since we finished our kitchen remodel, I have been on a mission to replace my crappy stuff with nicer things, which includes wine glasses.  I’m so excited to be entertaining again this year, and I’m guessing my wine glasses will be getting some air time.  These wine glasses are just so pretty and fun, which for some reason, makes a difference to me.

Especially now that I have a pretty place to store them (with wine handy as well).  Full reveal here, in case you missed it.
