Flowers for Friends

You know I have been enjoying the bits of Spring that have made their appearances thus far.  Although the daffodils are in full bloom and beautiful, I have been trying to use my mind powers to get the tulips to follow suit.

So, you can imagine my surprise this evening as I walked to the side of the house and was greeted with this:

Well hello there my pretty pink ladies!  I can’t believe you started the party without me!

I love fresh flowers, and I have never had so many in my own yard at my disposal.  I think the pollen in the air must be getting to me, because I cut a bunch of tulips and daffodils, and came up with these…

I guess I was feeling a little guilty that I’ve been enjoying fresh flowers on my desk at work, so I put these flower buckets together for a few of my girlfriends in my department.  I just couldn’t help myself – Spring Fever took over.

I added the ribbon as a fresh, fun embellishment.  Making these adorable buckets just plain irresistible.

Supplies:
Buckets – $1 each from Target
Ribbon – On hand
Name Tags – $1 from Hobby Lobby
Flowers – FREE!
The best part is that I had all of this stuff at home and didn’t need to run out and get any additional supplies (a small miracle).  Now I’m looking forward to sharing all of this  flower goodness with my friends. 🙂

Gorgeous!! I just love spring flowers….especially tulips!! I have a few in my flower bed, but went to Walmart the other day & picked up some more! They had them for $1 a piece so I couldn't pass them up!! Think I may be going back for some more!!
