You know I have been enjoying the bits of Spring that have made their appearances thus far. Although the daffodils are in full bloom and beautiful, I have been trying to use my mind powers to get the tulips to follow suit.
So, you can imagine my surprise this evening as I walked to the side of the house and was greeted with this:
Well hello there my pretty pink ladies! I can’t believe you started the party without me!
I love fresh flowers, and I have never had so many in my own yard at my disposal. I think the pollen in the air must be getting to me, because I cut a bunch of tulips and daffodils, and came up with these…
I guess I was feeling a little guilty that I’ve been enjoying fresh flowers on my desk at work, so I put these flower buckets together for a few of my girlfriends in my department. I just couldn’t help myself – Spring Fever took over.
I added the ribbon as a fresh, fun embellishment. Making these adorable buckets just plain irresistible.

April 8, 2011 at 1:31 pmGorgeous!! I just love spring flowers….especially tulips!! I have a few in my flower bed, but went to Walmart the other day & picked up some more! They had them for $1 a piece so I couldn't pass them up!! Think I may be going back for some more!!
