Friday 5+1 (5 Thing I Love + 1 Thing I Don’t) – 11.4.16

Hello!

It’s going to be a crazy one here this weekend, with the One Room Challenge wrapping up and I still have tons to do.  Need to put my nose to the grindstone and get. it. done.  Let’s get going with this week’s Friday 5+1!

Menu Cards

Are you hosting Thanksgiving or Christmas this year, or even having a holiday dinner of some sort with friends or family?  I love the look of menu cards, and these from Avery can help you get the job done.  So pretty, don’t you think?

Cars with Trees at Target

Oh my, I discovered these adorable holiday options at Target last week, and had to restrain myself from going crazy and buying all of it!  I just love it!

The Ralph Lauren Store in NYC

We stopped in Ralph Lauren while we were in NYC a couple weeks ago, and I swear, I could have moved right in!  I don’t recall ever walking into a store and falling in love with the design and decor the way I did here.  The bathroom is what sent me over the edge.

The Freedom Tower

While we went to the 9/11 Museum (which was amazing), I had to share the Freedom Tower, because my kids absolutely loved it.  When we went to the 9/11 Museum, it was raining, and we apparently hit it at a really busy time, and had to wait for a long time.  In the rain.  Suffice to say, the kids were not jazzed by the time we got inside and through the tour.  The upside was that it had stopped raining by the time we finished, and the view from the Freedom Tower was spectacular.

Celebrity Sighting

Did I mention that I saw Martha Stewart while we were in NYC?  While visiting the Freedom Tower, I noticed that there was a Martha Stewart event being held there.  Wouldn’t you know it, when we finished our time at the observation deck, and were getting ready to leave, she walked right by me.  I was star struck, I’ll admit it.  And no, she doesn’t have a long ponytail, she had two little girls with her.

My +1 for the Week…

When stores stop selling products that I love!  I went to Menard’s to find my favorite brush wash from Zinsser, and wouldn’t you know it, they had replaced it with other products, and it was nowhere to be found.  Why???

Have a great weekend!!

Jenny
