One Room Challenge Week #5: Crunch Time

Hello!

Here we are again – in the home stretch for the Fall 2016 One Room Challenge, and suffice to say, my son’s room is basically a hot mess right now, which usually seems to be the case when we’re this far into the process.  BUT, I’m happy to say that I can see things coming together (in my mind, at least).  My son is about ready to ban me from his room altogether, and asked me last night, “Am I supposed to sleep in here?”  Don’t worry son, a week from now, your room will be put back together, and I will be drinking wine and catching up on my Netflix shows this whole ordeal will be behind us.

I’m not going to give away the farm at this point, but let me give you a peek inside of my head as to how it’s all coming together.  The overarching theme is Shades of Gray + White + Wood Tones.  I think it’s a perfect mix for a boy’s room.  It’s crisp and masculine, without being too dark.

I am also making some progress on the bathroom area (which was a bonus space, if you’ll remember).  Wallpaper is coming down, and the vanity is getting painted at the moment.  I’m really excited to see things fall into place, although I know this next week is going to be a frenzy.  It always is, isn’t it?  Well, for me it is.

So, I apologize for this post being short, but this girl has work to do!  Pray for me, will you?  Or should I say, pray for my family.  They’re the ones that have to put up with me while I go down the road to crazy town, and the house falls into a state of complete disarray.
